The proposals of the second call for the Efficient Localities program, launched by the National Directorate of Energy, seek to support the implementation of projects through financial and technical support.
The Energy Monitor of June this year, a publication of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining of Uruguay, has collected the proposals of the second call for the Efficient Localities program, launched by the National Directorate of Energy. This program seeks to support the implementation of energy efficiency projects through financial and technical support.
The Ideas Contest closed on May 25. A total of 39 proposals belonging to 18 departments were received. There were twenty selected ideas that enter the assembly phase of the project.
During a period not exceeding 30 days, the projects will be completed, which, if approved, will begin to be executed in August.
Among the proposals, the following stand out: a photovoltaic installation in the Logros foundation and an external LED luminaire will be installed in the streets of the Municipality and external and internal lighting in the foundations headquarters, in Baltasar Brum.
The Club Atlético Estudiantes de Tacuarembó Capital plans to install a solar collector for water heating and a photovoltaic generation plant to provide thermal and electrical energy to the club.
