The Ministry of Habitat and Urban Development of the Province published the call for bids to build 120 homes and infrastructure in the 3 de Junio ??neighborhood of the town of Plátanos.
The work will be carried out with an official budget of more than 1,597 million pesos financed by the World Bank.
This is a project that responds to the needs of people who live on the banks of the Arroyo Las Conchitas, exposed to the high-voltage lines that cross over the property.
The necessary work to carry out the resettlement process is carried out jointly with the families involved and with the support of a multidisciplinary territorial team.
In this regard, Minister Agustín Simone highlighted the work in the territory and highlighted the importance of carrying out a participatory process: "we carry out field work with the necessary care, because it involves the present and future of the people who were already installed but who are exposed to a situation of vulnerability».
The work for the city includes the sanitation of the property and the construction of the sewage system, the networks of drinking water, gas and public lighting.
Streets will also be paved and sidewalks will be built for the neighborhood.
The opening of envelopes will take place on July 29, 2022, at 11 a.m., at the headquarters of the Provincial Agency for Social and Urban Integration (OPISU), located at 47 No. 529 between 5 and 6, La Plata.
Interested companies will be able to download the specifications on the Web page of the Provincial Housing Institute.
This work is added to the tender carried out last month to advance with the completion of 300 homes in the Kennedy neighborhood. It also includes all the necessary infrastructure.
The provincial government has been working on the implementation of public policies to guarantee access to a fair habitat for more and more citizens of the Buenos Aires territory.
