The tasks have their starting point in the town of Pronunciamiento, coinciding with the intersection of JD Perón street (end of the heavy traffic diversion) and the paved road, end of the urban area of ??said town, executed by the administration, corresponding to the section Caseros – Pronouncement. In this suburban section, due to the current state of the 450 meter long paved road, rehabilitation works are planned. After it, the paving of the route object of this project is proposed.
For the purposes of diverting the passing heavy traffic, a 1,922-meter concrete detour was designed in the town of Pronunciamiento, using part of the urban road network surrounding that town. This variant, since it is a relatively populated area, will be executed with a profile with a concrete roadway and a gutter. In this area there is a drainage system, executed by the Hydraulic Directorate of the province, which has been taken into account for capturing surface runoff from the projected streets.
In the town of 1º de Mayo, the route of the road passes through an urban area, a fact that motivates the need to carry out a variant, which contemplates the diversion of through traffic. This situation was observed by proposing the path through existing alternative routes, until resuming the route that links with the town of Villa Elisa, foreseeing the connections of the urban fabric of 1º de Mayo with their respective intersections, contemplating a length of 2,900m. The proposed intersection between the heavy traffic diversion and the completion of the 1º de Mayo urbanization materializes through a roundabout that will be built with a concrete roadway.
Upon reaching Villa Elisa, coinciding with the beginning of the Boulevard (intersection with street No. 2), a system of collectors is proposed on both sides of the route, with the purpose of diverting local traffic and its accesses towards the urbanized sector, modifying the current intersection with the completion of the project. This situation leaves open the possibility of considering a connection in the future that would link the work with National Route 130, with the aim of diverting heavy traffic through alternative routes in the future.
The project included the accesses to the FADEL Frigorifico, school No. 14 Tres de Febrero and the connection road that links 1º de Mayo with the neighborhoods located in the surroundings, through widenings with acceleration and braking lanes. Particularly in the aforementioned school and in the cemetery of the town of 1º de Mayo, parking bays will be built to provide greater security to the vehicles that go to these places.
With regard to the hydraulics of the road, the construction of a drainage system with transverse and lateral sewers has been planned, which respond to the water requirements of the basins studied. In particular and due to their large dimensions, the transverse culverts located in the vicinity of the FADEL refrigerator and in the El Pantanoso stream stand out, which have caused changes in the geometric design of the layout, for its better functioning.
In turn, the work plans to include tasks that have been pending execution in the section between the towns of Caseros and Pronunciamiento, among which stand out acceleration and braking lanes at the exit of the heavy traffic diversion to homemade, coming from the provincial route 39, repair of railings, construction of access slabs, expansion joints and protective railings of defense in the bridge over the Arroyo Santa María, reaching Pronunciation.
As a corollary, the horizontal and vertical signaling of the entire section was incorporated, as well as the lighting of the intersections proposed to improve the safety of traffic turns and maneuvers.
