Work Detail The Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) awarded the first tranche of the tender to build a new headquarters for the General Deheza Customs, for 240 million pesos. "The works in the province of Córdoba will begin in May and it is estimated that they will be completed by the second quarter of 2023," the AFIP reported yesterday in a statement. The first stage foresees the construction of the administrative building on a four-hectare piece of land bordering the city, and a semi-covered space to verify the entry and exit of trucks. Among the main exporting complexes that dispatch their merchandise through the General Deheza Customs are the peanut, oil, dairy, metal-mechanic and refrigerator, while capital goods, agricultural machinery and tools are imported through there. General Deheza Customs was created in 2010, and currently operates in a building donated by the municipality of that town in the center of the city. It is one of the two customs offices that the province of Córdoba has as a service to foreign trade, and it has geographical jurisdiction over the southern half of the province.
