The contract was signed for the work that will provide greater accessibility, security and more recreation sectors in the historic public space. “It is an emblematic place in Paraná. What is there is maintained and improved with a professional architectural vision”, highlighted the mayor Adán Bahl.
The work was awarded to the Szczech firm. “As we regularize the municipal accounts, we can face this type of investment. This is done with municipal funds contributed by taxpayers and it is the best way to show where the money of the people of Paraná is going”, said Bahl.
"Public spaces have a special value for the people of Paraná, they are part of our identity and it is something we want to share with those who visit us", remarked the Mayor and added: "Their recovery is part of the strategic agreements that resulted from the work in jointly with the City Brand Advisory Council, a body in which different organizations and community actors participate.”
Finally, he added: “We know that there are still places in Paraná that need attention. We are working on different work fronts to advance faster, because it is one of the priorities of the people of Paraná and one of the commitments of our management”.
Details
The Sáenz Peña square will have improvements in the four diagonals, with the recovery of the fountain and the central monument; sectorization for physical activity equipment; renovation of the playground sector with the placement of a rubber floor, recovery and installation of accessible games. In addition to a landscaping job and lighting improvements.
It will be equipped with new benches, drinking fountains, garbage cans, sanitary modules and a complete solar station for hot water dispenser. The integral project was presented to the neighbors in November of last year.
Plaza Sáenz Peña is one of the largest squares in the city and daily thousands of Paraná people choose it to play sports, recreate or take the kids to play. In addition, it is a point of cultural confluence. |
