Suppliers of the travel agencies category with tools for comparing rates and issuing online reservations are invited to participate in the bid ID 2239-12-LR21 published at www.mercadopublico.cl that establishes a new acquisition model through Framework Agreement through a price and route comparator for national and international air tickets. We are looking for the participation of suppliers that deliver “Online Booking Tool (OBT)” or an “Online Travel Agency (OTA)” and that have a transactional site to deliver the service.
For the first time, buyers of public bodies will thus be able to access the best rates on air tickets, thanks to the new Framework Agreement for Online Corporate Travel Agency and Travel Assistance that the ChileCompra Directorate is putting out to tender.
Once it is enabled in the electronic store, this Agreement will allow the simultaneous comparison of the prices of the air tickets of all the suppliers of the category that are interested, through a platform that will make it possible to make reservations for a certain trip, whether domestic or international flights, with a cap of up to 1,000 UTM.
This Framework Agreement reduces its validity from six years to only three years -with the possibility of making an extension for up to 6 additional months-, which allows the market to be opened, maintaining the dynamism of the item.
Likewise, an opening of new routes (destinations) and itineraries is established, during the entire term of the Agreement: if a new airline arrives or if one of the existing ones adds a route, the incorporation will be agile and immediate, only needing an integration with the interface of the provider that is awarded in the Agreement. |
