AN INVESTMENT OF 200 MILLION PESOS
A consultant from the Santa Fe city of Rosario began a preliminary investigation in Winifreda for the project that will allow the sewer work to be carried out for the town, according to Mayor Adriana García.
The communal chief indicated that the municipality and the local electric cooperative (CEW) have received calls to establish the site where there are currently potable water lines and other services.
The work is included in the Nation program that benefits La Pampa, announced by President Alberto Fernández and already signed the agreement between Governor Sergio Ziliotto and the national Ministry of Public Works.
Most of them are works that have to do with sanitation, since in La Pampa all the towns have their drinking water network. Winifreda is listed with a sewage network and the corresponding waste treatment plant and will be done directly through the National Water Works Entity (Enohsa).
García pointed out that in addition to raising the quality of life through services, the work will bring about the generation of jobs for the people. In dialogue with a local radio, he indicated: «We know that sewers are included in the public works package that the president announced when he visited La Pampa. It is a work of 200 million pesos and welcome. We hope it will happen soon, it will be the first time that so much money has been invested together in Winifreda. ”
Employment generation
The president stated that the initiative is part of the central administrations thought of «generating work in the post-pandemic. They are measures that allow it to be done quickly, that is the way public works and credit are for them ».
That is part of the venture, "so we hope it will be soon. It will also bring us discomfort in the locality, but it will be a very important environmental achievement ”.
Regarding the company that will take over, he said that he had no more news than the calls made to the municipality and the cooperative by a consultant from the city of Rosario. “They have communicated looking for information on where water pipes pass and other technical data. They want to know where the obstacles are when they start digging. These are studies that we can report are already being carried out ”.
Growing
He later affirmed about the sewage network that reaches "a town that is growing, with development in several plots already urbanized and others that are on that road" and added that "today in that aspect we do not have land to make new homes".
In his consideration, other indicators that influence this growth will be "the refrigerator that is under construction by private initiative and a column factory of the cooperative, things that will later give way to other projects."
He stressed that "despite being in a difficult time, in anguish over the pandemic, these ventures are under construction", which from his vision is "a sample of a people that has the potential to continue progressing."
He said that both the national and provincial governments are doing a great deal of managing the coronavirus pandemic. "They work so that the health system does not overflow, if that happens we would have to go back with everything that was done," he said, noting that in La Pampa "we had very few cases and those that were detected were very fast. It must be recognized that the health situation is controlled. |
