The City of Cuenca Consortium has started the bidding process for the Drafting of the project, installation and dismantling of scaffolding for the repair and consolidation of the spire of the church of El Salvador, through a simplified open procedure, ordinary procedure and sole criterion award, for a budget of 40,535 euros (33,500 euros plus VAT) and with an execution period of six months.
The process, which was interrupted by the state of alarm, establishes that interested companies will be able to present their offers electronically at the Public Sector Procurement Platform until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020.
As reported by the City of Cuenca Consortium in a press release, the opening of the economic offers will be on Tuesday, July 14.

The planned action aims to cover the tower on all its facades to protect public roads and avoid new landslides as much as possible, as well as allowing the parish of El Salvador to evaluate the necessary repair and consolidation works. It includes the drafting of the scaffolding project, its transportation, installation, rental for an estimated period of six months and its subsequent dismantling.
The tower repair works, once defined and valued, must be re-contracted. The Consortium has promised to study its participation in the spire restoration intervention, once the scope and amount of these are known. |
