Engineer Ibrahim Mahlab, the former Prime Minister of Egypt and Honorary President of the Arab Contractors Company, witnessed the signing of a contract for the construction of the new campus of the University of Business and Technology in Jeddah Governorate, Saudi Arabia, with a value of SAR 343 million.
The contract was signed by Dr. Hisham Jamjoom, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University of Business and Technology, and Engineer Mohsen Salah, Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Dahlan, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees and Ambassador Hisham Mustafa, Consul of Egypt in Jeddah.
Eng. Mohsen Salah, President of the Arab Contractors Company, emphasized the strength and strength of the good relations between Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and that Arab contractors have been present in the Saudi market for more than sixty years and recently obtained the renewal of the classification certificate for the company’s branch in the Kingdom for a period of (4 years) This allows it to apply to the giant projects that are being proposed in Saudi Arabia, especially as the company has been classified as "first class" in the fields of roads, water and sanitation, electrical works and dam works.
The signing of the contract was also attended by a number of university leaders and Engineer Syed Farouk, First Vice President of the Arab Contractors Company and Engineer Suleiman Younis, Director of the Arab Contractors Branch in Saudi Arabia, who explained that the project consists of (4) university buildings (Engineering - Advertising - Business Administration - English Law) In addition to the service buildings attached to the campus (theater - library - mosque - bowling hall - gym - residential building - electric power station) in addition to the general site works.
Syed Farooq indicated that the total area of ??the project is estimated at about 125,000 square meters and its implementation period is three years and that all building works are integrated and include earthworks, concrete works and high-quality finishing works for interior spaces and aluminum and glass facade work at the highest level and are equipped with the latest electromechanical systems of air conditioning Ventilation, fire alarm and surveillance cameras, in addition to lighting, computer and other systems. |
