These are road, water, gas network and especially school infrastructure projects, where the greatest emphasis is placed on this opportunity.
The Government of the province, through different administrative acts, is launching a new package of school, water, road and gas networks that will benefit thousands of residents of the Capital City and inland towns.
Through various agencies that depend on the Ministry of Public Works and Services, Water and Environment, tenders were called and works were awarded that will represent an investment exceeding $ 260 million, paid by the Santiago State itself. In addition to the benefits that the works will represent, the execution of the works will generate an impact with the creation of labor sources in the construction sector and the motorization of the economy, linked to the financial movement around the development of the projects.
Making a review of each of the works, most are constructions of school buildings; the expansion or renovation and remodeling of existing schools.
School works
First, the bidding process and the adjudication for the demolition of the existing building and the construction of three rooms, SUM, sanitary teaching, civic patio and access in kindergarten No. 97 in the city of Frías (Choya), with a Lead time of 300 calendar days.
In addition, Governor Gerardo Zamora signed the decree for the call to tender for the construction of the Kindergarten building a room with toilets, water tank and perimeter fence, for Garden No. 854 annex to the School No. 556 in the town Percas (San Martín), with an execution period of 120 calendar days.
The bidding process and award of the work “base sewer pipe, cold water, hot in Kitchen and Hairdressing and electrical installation in Carpentry, air conditioning ducts in the School of Vocational Training and Labor Training No. 7 Granadero de San Martín in Beltrán (Robles), with a lead time of 120 days.
Another school work that in this case will be called a public tender is the “renovation and construction of a covered playground in Escuela Nº 625, Kilometer 477 (Juan Felipe Ibarra), with a delivery period of 300 calendar days.
In addition, the Executive approved the call for bids for the work “construction of special school Suncho Corral” in the Department Juan Felipe Ibarra, with a deadline of 240 calendar days, once the work began.
Two of the educational works that were called to tender and that represent a strong investment of the Province is the construction of the future primary school and kindergarten -with three rooms- (to create both institutions) in the Don Bosco neighborhood, a sector populous of the Capital city where houses were executed through the Ipvu
The last of the school works that will be executed in this package is the “construction of a covered room and patio in the Kindergarten No. 267 annexed to the School No. 608, in the town of El Pirucho, Figueroa Department. The deadline for delivery of the work is 90 calendar days.
Other projects
In road matters, the Executive approved the bidding process and adjudication of the road improvement work that links the towns of Alto Bello-
Puerta Chiquita, in the Guasayán department. The deadline for the execution of the works is 240 calendar days. He also called for public bidding the execution of the improvement work on the road of provincial route 5 to La Invernada Sur in the department of Figueroa, with a period of 180 calendar days for the delivery of the works.
On the other hand, the execution of the work of a potable water supply system to the San Lorenzo de Los Sayago locality, in the Capital Department, will be launched, as the Executive has authorized the award of the project, with a delivery time 3 months
Finally, in a tender carried out by the IPVU, the work was awarded for the realization of a natural gas network, electricity network and public lighting for 92 homes in the Mariano Moreno neighborhood, in the capital city. The lead time is 180 calendar days. |
