China Everbright Water, a provider of wastewater treatment solutions, has bagged two contracts worth CNY396m ($56m) in Shandong Province of China.
The two projects win include Ji’nan Tangye New Area Waste Water Treatment project and Zibo Northern Waste Water Treatment Plant Expansion Project.
For Tangye New Area Project, Everbright Water created a jointly established project company that will be responsible for the investment, construct and operate the facility.
Everbright Water will hold a 99.9% stake in the project company.
The facility will be built on a public-private partnership (PPP) basis with a concession period of 30 years, which also includes the construction period.
Once completed, the Tangye New Area Project will offer wastewater treatment services to the Tangye New Area in the Licheng District of Ji’nan City.
Tangye New Area Project will be built with a total investment of nearly RMB313m ($44.7m) and will have daily wastewater treatment capacity of 45,000m3, which includes 25,000 m3 for phase I and 20,000m3 for phase II.
Everbright Water will build Tangye New Area Project by adopting a semi-underground structure, which it earlier used to build Beijing Daxing Tiantanghe Waste Water Treatment Project, as well as Ji’nan Huashan Waste Water Treatment Project and Ji’nan East Station Area Waste Water Treatment Project.
For the Zibo Northern Waste Water Treatment Plant expansion project, the company agreed with Shandong Zibo Economic Development Zone management committee.
The project will be built with an investment of RMB83m ($11.8m) on build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis, and will have a daily wastewater treatment capacity is 20,000m3.
Similar to Tangye New Area Project, the Zibo Northern Waste Water Treatment Plant will have a concession period of 30 years, which also includes the construction period. |
