The Ministry of Environment and Public Space informed that it extends for two years the current public tender for the cleaning "of uncovered stretches of streams that flow into the Río de la Plata".
The deadline agreed with the Transitional Business Union (UTE) URBASER ARGENTINA SA - SEOB SA came to an end and the Buenos Aires authorities decided to extend it for another 24 months.
The amount to be invested in these two years will be, in principle, $ 38,452,872.48 at basic values, according to official sources in the Extension of Public Bid No. 8503-1008-LPU16, published in the Official Gazette of Buenos Aires.
The complete service is called, according to the tender: “CLEANING OF DISCOVERED SECTIONS OF ARROYOS THAT UNLOAD IN THE RIO DE LA PLATA AND EL RIACHUELO (CILDÁÑEZ, RODRIGO BUENO, UGARTECHE, MEDRANO, MALDONADO Y RAGGIO) AND THE CORRECT RESCUE IN THOSE WATER COURSES ”.
The General Directorate of Cleaning under the Department of Urban Hygiene of the Ministry of Environment and Public Space is responsible for the execution of the work. |
