From the Coordination of Sanitary Services of the Municipality of Concepción del Uruguay, it was decided to carry out the expansion of the drinking water distribution system in a sector of the La Unión neighborhood. It is an area that currently lacks the system or is reached through precarious facilities
The installation of 450 meters of 75 mm PVC pipe is projected, suitable for conducting drinking water; and the construction of 40 household drinking water connections. The distributors will be installed in Ombú streets between Libertad and Progreso, Independencia between Palmeras and Ombú, Ombú between Independencia and Unidad, Unit between Ombú and Palmeras, and Unit between Palmeras and Public Street 418.

To carry out this work, the Municipality made a call for public bidding, with an official budget of $ 850,000. The proposals presented were: "Herlein Gerardo", which quoted $ 823,810.54, "Urban Construction" for $ 874,993.64 and "Cantera La China", which proposed to carry out the work for $ 1,222,688.81.
