WINIFREDA: HUBO FIVE OFFERS FOR WORK
In the headquarters of the General Directorate of Public Works of the province, envelopes were opened with offers in the framework of the tender 9/19 called by the Ministry of Public Works and Services for the expansion and renovation of the hospital « Juan Smith »of Winifreda, where neighbors of this town and surroundings are served.
The event was led by the Director of Basic Works, José Briones, along with an administrator from his area. The work has an official budget estimated at 11,805,116 pesos. On this occasion, five companies presented their economic proposals: Aníbal Javier Hernández, GRG Construcciones, Zulema Ledesma, Constructora Norte SRL and Ricardo Cuello. Their representatives witnessed the opening of envelopes.
Briones confirmed that quotes were located from 10% below the state budget to 14% above. He said that the work will be awarded shortly and that the selected company will have an execution period of 240 calendar days.
The official said that "they are important jobs" that will be developed in the Winifredense health facility and explained them. «The internal building structure will be completely modified, adapting the premises to the current operation, optimizing surfaces and relocating spaces. It will be a big intervention, it is not minor.
This «aims to optimize, refunctionalize and adapt the current health center service to new uses. The idea is that the neighbor who attends the care center has better attention and visualization of the different spaces. To this end, the hospitalization sector will be expanded, better access to external offices and administration will be encouraged. In addition, the surface of the emergency sector for primary care or emergency medical service will be modified. It will also improve the kitchen and laundry ».
On the same subject, he concluded that the modernization of the building «implies the modification of the electrical installation, of the natural gas network, the sanitary service including drains and water supply. And in terms of masonry, remodeling and expansion of masonry, ceilings, sanitary, carpentry, doors, windows will be done and will be completed with general paint ».
It should be noted that these renovations will improve working conditions for local health workers and solve an old problem: water leaks on days of heavy rains, something patients also crave.

Within the framework of the current economic situation, Briones was asked about how the exchange run on Monday began after the surprise of the election result of the elections PASO, and in that sense replied: «It is a thorny issue, it is not simple. It impacts more on a work of complexity because the amounts budgeted at the time of the tender had an assessment and today an important modification. Likewise, last year, the Contract Renegotiation Law was passed, with which the government tried to slightly mitigate these impacts through financial advances to businessmen, in addition to recognizing higher costs.
"That prevents the company from having to face a financial cost by resorting to a bank that has a much higher percentage and gives a certain respite to be able to make purchases of the most important materials," he said. |
