Work Detail On Monday, 3 new projects were signed, two solar and one biogas. With this new act, contracts have been signed to date for 85 of the 88 awarded projects totaling 2,007.1 MW over an initially awarded capacity of 2,043 MW. MARCH 27, 2019 PILAR SÁNCHEZ MOLINA The Energy Government Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance of Argentina has informed that on Monday three new contracts for the supply of renewable electric power were signed between CAMMESA and the companies awarded the Round 2 of RenovAr. With this new act, contracts have been signed to date for 85 of the 88 awarded projects totaling 2,007.1 MW over an initially awarded capacity of 2,043 MW. Two of the new contracts signed belong to solar technology projects and one to biogas for a total of 38 MW of power that will be located in the province of Córdoba and will allow to supply more than 22,000 homes. The solar project V. María Del Río Seco, with 20 MW of capacity, and the so-called Cura Brochero, with 17 MW, belong to the Neuss Fund Llcson company. They will be located in the towns of Villa María de Río Seco and Cura Brochero, respectively. The 1-MW power biogas project will be located in the department of Rio II and will generate electricity using pig manure, whey, gums, rumen waste and fats as inputs. The three bidding rounds of the RenovAr program, Resolution 202 and the MaTER regime have awarded 206 projects in 21 provinces for a total of 6,130 MW of installed capacity. Of these, 69 projects correspond to solar photovoltaic technology.
