The Governorate of Norte de Santander, through the Ministry of Culture, delivered a team of technical equipment to the Teatro Zulima de Cúcuta, currently managed by the Fundación Ceramica Italia.
The value of the support delivered with resources of the department is $ 170 million, acquired through the National Mobile Telephony Tax, a figure that was distributed in the purchase of a power plant, an auditorium-type projector of 10,000 Lumens laser and maintenance of the system of sound for digital projection.
The new plant guarantees safety for artists and the public in general, because in case of emergency they will have enough energy to continue with their presentation or a possible evacuation of the place.
The Zulima Theater is one of the most important cultural assets of Norte de Santander, since in this space the different artistic and cultural areas converge. With this contribution, opportunities are opened to further explore the audiovisual theme in Cúcuta and strengthen training processes in different disciplines such as theater, music, dance and plastic arts. |
