These countries try to seduce investors and builders with a diverse range of infrastructure projects. In the package of works there are from airports, through trains and highways, to water treatment plants and broadband networks.
This is the list of the 80 most important energy, mining, telecommunications and transport projects currently in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
The group of projects was compiled by the law firm Garrigues and seeks to consolidate in a single website the relevant information of each initiative.
All projects, organized by countries, will include updated information on their location, financial structure, estimated value of the investment, term and status.

According to data from the same law firm, the consolidation of regional projects on this website represents investments of some US $ 57,000 million .
In the case of Colombia, important projects stand out, such as the El Dorado 2 Airport , which commits resources for US $ 800 million ; the Canoas wastewater treatment plant, where investments are foreseen for a billion pesos and the Regiotram, a project led by the Government of Cundinamarca and which has a value in sheets of about US $ 500 million.
There are also Accesses North, second phase (between streets 182 and 245), a project of US $ 350 million and whose tender would be opened in the first half of this year.
In Chile, there are also interesting projects. For example, there is the second Concession Route 5 Talca - Chillán section, with investments of US $ 521 million. Likewise, the second tender of the Concession Ruta 5 Los Vilos-La Serena + Conurbation section is on offer, with a budget of US $ 544 million.
In Mexico, the Mayan Train of US $ 3,400 million stands out , and by the way, is one of the campaign promises of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
In Peru, there is a road project that optimizes mobility in Lima. This is the 33.2 km highway concession that needs investments of US $ 2,049 million.

In the case of Brazil, there are several projects that denote the new privatizing approach of President Bolsonaro. One of the most interesting is the sale of the shares of the Brazilian Company of Airport Infrastructure (Infraero) in the concessions of the International Airports of Guarulhos (SP), Confins (MG), Galeão (RJ) and Brasília (DF), corresponding to 49% of the capital stock of each of these companies.
And not to mention the initiative for the privatization of the company Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras SA - Eletrobras , through the reduction of the participation of the Union in the companys capital stock.
