A unique device is, for example, a weather station that shows passengers the current temperature, humidity, UV index. Dust fly detector displaying landmark data in a given location. The stops use energy-saving LED lighting and, beside two security cameras, have a SOS button to call for help. "The transport company of Brno is not afraid of new, smart solutions. Another example is just this stop, which has no similarities in Brno and in the whole Republic and operates in a trial regime. If the stop is successful, it will be the effort of both the city and the carrier to expand their number to other places in Brno, " explained the Mayor of Brno Petr Vokrál. "In addition to clever buildings, a smart city is also a smart transport, and Brno is intelligent systems across the street. The Brno stops are unique in the Czech context and we are glad to participate in this project. I hope we will continue to cooperate and together with the transport company and the passengers we will improve the stops in order to best suit them, " adds CEO CEZ ESCO Kamil Cermák. The Smart Stop device is installed in a way that is weatherproof and rain resistant and can operate smoothly in the minimum temperature range -30 ° C to + 45 ° C (in shade). The stops were built during the summer months when the tram line in Milady Horákové Street in the section Kolište - Rooseveltova underwent reconstruction.
