A bioLNG plant was officially inaugurated on Monday in Norway by the countrys prime minister, Erna Solberg . It is the largest facility in the world, according to Puregas Solutions, based in Sweden, a Wärtsilä company that provided equipment for the project. The biogas modernization and liquefaction plant was installed at the Norske Skog Skogn paper mill. The plant will convert the cleaned biogas from waste and waste paper leach into bioLNG liquid fuel, Puregas said in its statement. The plant, which will upgrade up to 3,000Nm3 / h of raw biogas to renewable natural gas (RNG), will be part of the largest biogas liquefaction plant in the Nordic countries, producing fuel for public transport vehicles, he said. |
