The complete computerization of public procurement, from the very first publication of requests by public and wider public sector bodies to electronic invoicing, is also a big bet for the current leadership of the General Secretariat for Trade and Consumer Protection. What is not yet implemented is the e-invoice. It is also planned to incorporate the so-called "European Single Document". This project is implemented through the participation of the General Secretariat of Trade in the European program entitled "Interoperability of the European Convention for the Uniform Register of Services (ESPD) within and between the Member States".
According to Mr. Papadarakis, the upgrading of technological infrastructures and human resources (a relevant study is already in progress), the rationalization of the contracting authorities currently reaching 2.359 and the full development of the new and legalized supplier tools, such as framework agreements and electronic catalogs.
