The Government of the Posavina Canton issued a decision on co-financing the purchase of textbooks for pupils of elementary schools with the area of ??that canton from the first to the ninth grade, and for these purposes, the amount of 215,000 KM was granted.
According to the Prime Minister of the Posavina Canton Marijana Klaic, this practically means that each parent of pupils from the first to the ninth grade will get a hundred KM to help in the procurement of this years textbooks, the Government of the Posavina Canton said.
- A number of social measures planned by the Government of the Posavina Canton this year to help families and solve their everyday tasks requiring financial means are also helpful in the procurement of books for pupils of elementary schools - said Klaic.
The Government of the Posavina Canton also adopted the decision to allocate funds from the cantonal budget for 2018 to non-profit organizations and citizen associations in the total amount of 70,000 KM for 67 non-profit organizations and citizen associations. 78 entities applied for a public call, out of which 67 were eligible.
The government approved the allocation of funds from the budget for 2018 to lower levels of government for the purpose of financial support for regular functioning and co-financing of projects in the total amount of 63,000 KM (MZ Domaljevac, MZ Bok, MZ Kopanica and MZ Kostrc).
A decision was taken from the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry to give approval to that ministry for the implementation of the public procurement procedure for carrying out works on the repair of the fire protection road in Donji Svilaj. The estimated value of the public procurement is 24,000 KM.
From the Ministry of Science, Science, Culture and Sports, a decision was made to approve the allocation of funds from the cantonal budget for 2018 to religious communities in the name of the construction and renovation of sacral buildings, which approved the amount of 15,000 KM (the parish of the Names of Mary of the Donji Svilaj in the amount of 10,000 KM and parish of St. Josip in Gornja Dubica in the amount of 5,000 KM).
In the name of realization of cultural and sports programs and activities, a total of 30.450 KM was allocated for 21 clubs and companies in the name of sports programs and activities and realization of cultural programs.
