The new Danube Bridge, which is built at Dunakiliti, serves the connection between tourism and three Hungarian hinterland enclosed by the boom of the Bohemian power station.
The Slovak-Hungarian Monitoring Committee voted last week for the construction of a pedestrian-cycling bridge linking Dunakiliti with the Doballorga bridge (Dobrohost). As a member of the board, Zoltán Németh, president of the Gyor-Moson-Sopron County Self-Government also voted. The politician said to the Little Plain: the investment has final permits and intergovernmental agreements between the two countries. Zoltán Németh said that EUR 10.5 million (about 3.3 billion forints) is available for development. 85% of the amount is provided by the EU-funded Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Program, while the remaining 15% is added by the two countries as self-sufficient. A bridge of 562m wide with a multi-hole bridge is realized from which money is built on which 760 of the Hungarian side are built and 1.6 km of cycling routes in the Slovakian section are built. The president added that the bridge would be capable of transporting heavy vehicles, such as fire trucks or watercars, which could be helpful in a disaster.

Development can also help boost tourism. On the Slovak side, south of Pozsony, along the Danube, life cycles are extremely lively and bikers can roll over to the new artwork in Hungary, so they can return to the Slovakian capital by a circle. These services can be built over time, such as catering establishments.
The politician believed the project could improve the relationship between the two countries, and its symbolic significance is also obvious. "Sixty-six years later, the Great Danube Bridge was built in Gyor-Moson-Sopron County, between Vámosszabadi and Medve."
