Pacific Hydro Chile is opening the process to select companies specializing in solar panel maintenance. This is a 293 MWp facility. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, June 12. Pacific Hydro Chile has launched call ID 2349 for the module cleaning service at the Desierto de Atacama photovoltaic park, located in the Tierra Amarilla commune, Atacama Region. According to the company, the goal is to ensure the parks operational efficiency by applying manual, robotic, and tractor cleaning methods appropriate to the desert environment. The Atacama Desert photovoltaic park is located in an area characterized by high solar radiation and extreme environmental conditions, factors that favor the accumulation of dust and particles on the modules. Developed and operated by Pacific Hydro, it has an installed capacity of 293 MWp and occupies approximately 394 hectares. The infrastructure comprises more than 500,000 solar modules and 84 inverters, enabling an estimated annual generation of 784 GWh, enough to supply approximately 310,000 homes. The bidding process requires interested companies to demonstrate experience in similar services for photovoltaic plants. Applicants must submit their company name, tax identification number (RUT), business activity, name, email address, and cell phone number of the responsible contact. Documentation should be sent to Jesús Figueroa (jfigueroa@pacifichydro.cl), with a copy to compras@pacifichydro.cl, and indicate in the subject line: Tender ID2349. Cleaning of DDA Modules.
