The La Perla de Chaco plant, developed by DQD Energy in the town of Villa Ángela, is advancing in its construction phase and includes the installation of more than 40,000 solar panels. DQD Energy, an Argentine company specializing in the construction of large-scale photovoltaic solar parks, is currently building the La Perla de Chaco solar park, located in the town of Villa Ángela, in the Mayor Luis Jorge Fontana department, in the Argentine province of Chaco. The project includes an installed capacity of 30 MWp, with planned connection to the national electricity grid. The plant will have 40,339 solar modules distributed on fixed structures. At this stage, the project will generate 120 local jobs, with tasks associated with civil engineering, assembly, connections, and technical operations. Once operational, the park will have the capacity to supply more than 7,750 average-consumption households annually, according to data provided by the company. The initiative is part of DQD Energys expansion plan in the north of the country. The Buenos Aires-based company is also involved in other projects related to distributed generation and energy storage, although it has not yet announced the integration of batteries at this specific plant. The company previously participated in the construction, also in Chaco, of the 130 MW Pampa del Infierno, the third largest wind farm in the country , a project of the MSU Green Energy company. |
