Work Detail Real-time tracking platform to improve visibility and coordination at operational wind farms Lautec has signed a contract with German energy company EnBW to provide digital tracking of crew transfer vessels at its operational offshore wind farms. EnBW will deploy Lautec’s Daily Progress Reporting, WindGIS and Analytics modules to improve real-time visibility of vessel movements and offshore logistics. The cloud-based platform will help EnBW enhance situational awareness and evaluate operational performance with live data insights. “We’re proud to be collaborating with EnBW to implement our SaaS platform system for CTV tracking,” said Henrik Iversen, managing partner and head of IT at Lautec. “The system is a true SaaS solution—subscription-based with no up-front investment.” “Our DPR tracking interface is engineered to make it very easy for the vessel crew to record high-quality, complete data.” Lautec’s DPR platform is already widely used across the offshore wind sector, supporting more than 70% of the capacity currently under construction outside China. Initially developed for offshore construction, the system has gained traction in operational and onshore wind due to its flexible architecture and regular software upgrades. “We’re really looking forward to working closely with EnBW to make sure the system is configured, implemented and supported to deliver exactly what their teams need,” Iversen said.
