Recently, the No. 11 Hydropower Bureau received good news from the energy storage business market, winning the bid for the design and construction general contracting (EPC) of the Blueway Energy Energy Storage Power Station Project in the Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone, which is the largest independent energy storage power station in China using semi-solid lithium batteries. The No. 11 Hydropower Bureau has made new achievements in the energy business field, and has made a major breakthrough in the development of the energy storage business market. The construction scale of the Blueway Energy Storage Power Station Project in the Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone is a 300MW/1200MWh semi-solid lithium-ion battery system. It is located in Ebu Town, Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone, Guangdong Province, with a total area of ??about 99 acres. It is planned to use 240 sets of 5.015MWh energy storage battery cabins and 60 sets of 35kV booster integrated cabins, with a total of 60 5MW/20.06MWh energy storage units, each of which contains 1 booster integrated machine and 4 5.015MWh energy storage battery cabins. The project will be equipped with a 220kV energy storage booster station, as well as the corresponding 220kV distribution equipment, 220kV main transformer, 35kV distribution equipment, secondary equipment, communication equipment and reactive power compensation equipment. The 11th Hydropower Bureau is mainly responsible for the procurement of energy storage power station equipment and the basic civil construction of supporting energy storage prefabricated cabins, main transformers, SVG (reactive power compensation devices), the procurement of 220 kV booster station equipment and the construction and installation of comprehensive buildings, main control buildings, and dormitory buildings, as well as the final commissioning, trial operation, and grid connection of the entire project. After the project is completed, it will achieve an output of 1,200 MWh of electricity on the 220 kV AC side, and will have the capability to continuously regulate peak and frequency for 4 hours. It can effectively smooth out fluctuations in wind power and photovoltaic power, and provide flexible adjustment resources for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area power grid. |
