EVP Michal Michalski will drive development of business in Poland, Italy and Romania Renewable energy company OX2 has appointed Michal Michalski as its new executive vice president for south, east and central Europe, effective from today. Michalski (pictured) most recently served as the chief executive of Polenergia. Before that, he was a member of the management team with responsibility for the business development of onshore and offshore wind as well as solar. In his new position with OX2 he will be responsible for development and business efficiency in Poland, Italy and Romania. OX2 chief executive Paul Stormoen said: “I am happy to have Michal on board to drive the development of our business in south, east and central Europe. “We see great opportunities to grow our portfolio in these markets. There is a strong push to transition away from fossil fuels and strengthen energy independence. “Michal’s experience of being a leader in the industry will be very valuable.” Commenting on his appointment, Michalski hailed OX2 as “an amazing team of great people” and praised the company’s track record and reputation. He added: “I look forward to joining this great company and am happy to contribute to its further journey.” |
