Application for External / Internal painting for all product tanks shall be carried out by means of AIRLESS SPRAY PAINTING SYSTEM only. 2. The item rates for above should include provision of double staging scaffolding with MS pipes, drawing to be approved by Site-Engineer. i. Surface Preparation as per SA 2½ ii. Primer : P2- Polyamide cured Epoxy Zinc Phosphate - Single Coat, DFT 70-75µ iii. Intermediate Coat : P5- Epoxy Zinc Phosphate - Single Coat, DFT35-40µ iv. Steel surface shall have hot dip metallic coating of Al-Zinc alloy comprising 55% Alluminium, 43.5% Zinc and 1.5% Silicon as per the ASTM-A792M, with total mass of coating on both sides shall be 150 gms/sqm. The steel shall have organic coating with Silicon Modified Polyester (SMP) /Super Durable Polyester (SDP) paint on continuous coil coating line. The thickness of coating on top side shall be 20-25 Microns (i.e. 15-18 microns SMP /SDP paint over 5-7 microns epoxy primer) and back side 8-10 Microns SMP/SDP paint over epoxy primer. Total Coated Thickness (TCT) shall be 0.58 MM.
