General Procurement Notice For Supply And Delivery Of Laptop Computers Institution: Inter-American Development Bank Country: Cooperative Republic Of Guyana Project: Strengthening Instructional Leadership At District And School Levels Operation Or Grant Number: Gy-G1009 Loan Contract No.: Grt/Gp-20497-Gy Sector: Education Summary: The Principal Goods, Services, And Works To Be Procured Include Laptops And Consultants To Assist In Implementation, Conduct Studies And Project Evaluation. The Cooperative Republic Of Guyana Has Received Financing In The Amount Of Five Million Usd From The Inter-American Development Bank (Idb) And Intends To Utilize The Funds For Eligible Payments Related To The Procurement Of Goods, Works, Related Services, And Consulting Services Under The Strengthening Instructional Leadership At District And School Levels Program. The Main Objective Of The Project Is To Contribute To Improved Quality, Equitable Participation And Achievement In Basic Education For The Sustainable Development Of Guyana. The Specific Objectives Are To: (A) Strengthen School And District Leadership; And (B) Improve Sector Management. These Objectives Will Be Achieved Through These Components. Component 1-Capacity Building For Leadership Training (Us$4,128,900) The Aim Is To Equip District And School Leaders For Leading Transformation In Schools And Districts, With Specific Attention To Inclusion And Culturally Responsive Leadership By (A) Establishing A Leadership Academy, And (B) Strengthening Culturally Responsive Planning At District And School Levels.
