To Support Council’S Sustainability Strategy, Council Seeks To Recover Materials And Minimise Waste, Including By Recycling Metals. General Deliverables Include:• Collection And Purchase Of Bulk Steel (Ferrous) And Non-Ferrous Metals (Sorted And Mixed)• Collection And Purchase Of Lpg Gas Bottles And Large Cylinders• Collection And Purchase Of Used Lead Acid Batteries (Ulab)• Supply Of Bins And Pallets To Council Facilitiesdetails:Council Is Looking To Engage With Suitably Qualified Suppliers, To Potentially Provide These Services Across The City To Meet Council’S Requirements. Council Intends That The Opportunity To Tender Will Be Conducted Via A Public Open Market Request For Tender (Rft) Process. This Is Currently Anticipated To Be Released In November 2024 Via A Separate Vp Event.
