Research And Development Services And Related Consultancy Services – Technical Assistance For Support To Sustainable Industry Transformation In The Key Sectors Of Apparel, Textile, Chemical And International Transport. This Project Aims To Serve The Overall Objective To Reduce Carbon And Water Footprints In Production And Exports Of Goods And Contribute To Lower Co2 Emission Figures And Less Water Use And Pollution In Türkiye. In This Scope, As The First Component’S Outcome, A Policy Framework To Support Textile, Apparel, Chemicals And International Transport Sectors In Reducing Environmental Footprint Will Be Developed In The Form Of A White Paper (Chemicals And Transport Sectors Will Be Covered In Relation To Textile And Apparel Sectors). This Policy Process Will Be Supported Through The Development Of A Comprehensive Value Chain Analysis With Baseline And Needs Analyses Attached To This. Under The Second Component, Capacities Of Business Associations To Provide Services In The Targeted Sectors To Promote Environmental Footprint, Including Carbon And Water, Measurement And Reduction Practices Will Be Improved Through Consultancy Services And Pilot Implementations. This Action Encompasses Capacity Building Content Development For The Era, As Well As Development Of Toolkits Including An Lca Toolkit, A Sustainability Maturity Assessment Toolkit And Online And Material Libraries. Awareness Raising Activities On Benefits And Opportunities Of The Environmental Footprint Reduction Will Be Carried Out By The Contractor As The Third Component, Trainings/Consultancy Services Will Be Conducted For Reducing Environmental Footprint Calculation Or Reduction, And Related Process Evaluation Services Will Be Delivered, To Be Evidenced Through Reports.
