Security Services – 24Fei74111 Security Services Dstw Mainz. The Digital Interlocking (Dstw) Maintenance District (Ihb) Mainz Series-02 Project Is A Series Project Of The 2Nd Tranche Of Digital Rail Germany (Dsd) And Is Renewing The Complete Control And Safety Technology In The Ihb Mainz, With The Exception Of Already Existing Electronic Interlockings (Estw). In Terms Of Financing, The Project Is Not Included In The Bvwp Or The Network Concept, But Is An Existing Network Measure In The Ha (High Utilization) And Ha+ (Very High Utilization) Network. The Subject Of The Measure Is The Renewal Of The Underground Cable Engineering, Telecommunications Systems And Parts Of The Electrical Energy Systems. The Preliminary Planning Was Successfully Completed In May 2022. The Project Goals Are To Improve System Availability By Replacing Out-Of-Date Signal Box Technology, To Stabilize The Operating Program By Setting Up Track Changing Operations (Gwb) And To Optimize Operations Management From The Newly Built Operating Location (Bso) In Mainz. The New Construction Of The Dstw (According To Appendix 1) Is Expected To Improve Quality, But No Increase In Traffic. As Part Of The Project, The Existing Relay Signal Boxes In Mainz Main Station, Budenheim, Mainz-Bischofsheim, Mainz-Gustavsburg, Mainz-Weisenau And Nauheim (Near Groß-Gerau) Will Be Replaced By The Dstw To Be Built. In Particular, This Eliminates The Need For Remote Control Of The Signal Boxes In Budenheim And Mainz-Weisenau. The Average Age Of Signal Boxes Today Is Around 55 Years. The Total Number Of Control Units Built In The Target State Currently Amounts To 1,429. To Implement The Business Tax Strategy (Bss), The New Standard Buildings For The Business Location (Bso) And The Technology Location (Tso) Are Being Implemented For The First Time At The Mainz Location In A Pilot Project. As Part Of The Dstw Ihb Mainz Series-02, The Only Tso Pilot Will Be Implemented Nationwide, Which Will Serve As A Blueprint For A Later Rollout Of Other Tso Locations. The Previous Pre-Series Projects (Including Dstw Warnemünde, Dstw Mertingen-Meitingen) Only Included Project-Specific Solutions For The Buildings That Are Not Applicable For The Series Rollout. Experiences With Dstw Technology From The Pre-Series Projects That Have Already Been Implemented Are Incorporated Into The Planning Specifications Of The Dstw Mainz.
