The Fire Hall- Station 12, Located 4827 6 Avenue Edson Within Yellowhead County, The Project Is Divided Into Two Sections, Section A (4000 Sq.Ft Approximate) & Section B (7500 Sq. Ft Approximate). The Scope Of Work Entails The Installation Of A Roof Screed At Station 12 To Address Identified Failures And Issues Noted During The Inspection. The Project Is Divided Into Two Sections, Each With Specific Requirements And Areas Of Concern. Section A Of Roof (Approx. 4000 Sq. Feet): 1. Address Wall Flashing Failures Causing Bridging To Prevent Further Structural Issues. 2. Evaluate And Address Any Past Repairs Conducted Over The Lifespan Of The Roof To Ensure They Are Effective And Not Contributing To Current Issues. Section B Of Roof (Approx. 7500 Sq. Feet): 1. Rectify Multiple Failed Past Repairs To Mitigate Ongoing Issues. 2. Restore Coating In Multiple Areas Where Failure Has Occurred Due To Environmental Conditions To Enhance Protection And Longevity Of The Roof. 3. Remove Vegetation Growth In Multiple Areas To Prevent Damage And Maintain The Integrity Of The Roof. 4. Address Areas With Standing Water To Improve Drainage And Prevent Water-Related Damage. Additional Considerations: • Ensure All Work Is Conducted In Accordance With Industry Standards And Local Regulations. • Coordinate With The Engineer Or Designated Authority To Ensure Compliance With Project Specifications. • Provide Documentation Of Materials Used And Work Completed For Record-Keeping Purposes. The Proponent Is Tasked With: Proponent Disclaims Any And All Responsibility For Pre-Existing Conditions, Including But Not Limited To Structural Damage Or Deficiencies, Clogged Drains, Mold Growth, Excessive Standing Water, And Removal Of Hazardous Material. Additionally, Proponent Shall Not Be Liable For Other Hidden Deficiencies Such As Damaged Or Leaking Skylights, Hvac Units/Conduits, Electrical Or Gas Lines. This Proposal Does Not Cover, And Proponent Assumes No Responsibility For, The Removal Of Or Damage To Hvac Units/Conduits, Gas Lines, Water Lines, Electric Lines, Or Conduits, Regardless Of Their Location In Relation To The Roof System. This Includes Lightning Protection Systems, Landscaping, Communication Cables, Communication Devices, Or Other Devices, Including The Recalibration Of Satellites. It Is The Building Owners Financial Obligation To Provide Corrective Measures For These Services. The Proposed Scope Of Work Should Include In The Price Safety Accessories, Increased Insulation, Or Enhanced Roof Draining Upgrades Such As Added Drains, Emergency Overflow Scuppers, Sloped/Tapered Insulation, Or Larger Gutters And Downspouts. 2.2 Project Location The Fire Hall- Station 12, Located 4827 6 Avenue Edson Within Yellowhead County. 2.3 Scope Of Work Scope Inclusion: 2.3.1 Preliminary Design: • Conduct A Comprehensive Site Assessment To Evaluate The Roof Condition And Proposed Remediation Work. • Provide Detailed Cost Estimates For The Entire Project, Including Construction, Materials, And Environmental Considerations. • Provide Solutions And Material Options. 2.3.2 Detailed Design: • Develop Construction Drawings And A Schedule Of Quantities For The Roof Screeding. • Provide Overall Plans, Plan/Profiles, And Any Necessary Cross-Sections. • Submit Design Packages For Review And Comments By The County. • Incorporate County Comments Into The Final Design, Ensuring Alignment With Industry Standards And Regulations. 2.3.3 Construction & Administration: • Provide The Construction Schedule. • Evaluate Alternate Materials And Propose. • Providing Materials And Installation Services For Roof Rehabilitation Work, In Accordance With Technical Specifications, Ensuring Completion With Utmost Diligence And Adherence. • Ensure Quality Control Assurance Throughout The Construction Phase. 2.3.4 Project Schedule An Initialization Meeting Is To Be Scheduled By The Proponent At The Edson Yellowhead County Office. This Meeting Shall Be Held Within Ten Days Of Advisement Of Being The Successful Proponent. It Is Intended That Most Meetings Will Be Held At This Office.
