Radar Sets – Supply Of Emergency Communication Stations And Provision Of Climatic Data Of Areas Of Interest (Radar) Ops Taa 5220195 & Nspa 6002570. The Object Of The Contract Is The Supply Of New Modern Radar Systems, Medium And Long Range, Which Are Intended Both For The Replacement Of The Existing Obsolete Equipment, And For The Expansion Of The National Network Of Meteorological Radar Stations Aiming To Improve The Geographical Coverage Of The Network. In Addition, A Nowcasting System Infrastructure Will Be Developed, Through Which Detailed Color-Coded Hazard Maps Will Be Created And Standardized Forecasts Of High Spatio-Temporal Accuracy Will Be Issued With An Emphasis On Severe Weather Events. Finally, A Mechanism Will Be Developed For The Automated Production Of Updates And Warnings Which Will Be Sent By The Emy To The Ministry Of Climate Crisis & Civil Protection For Operational Evaluation And Utilization. The Produced Meteorological Products Will Also Be Available Through The New Emy Web Portal, Which Has Been Developed Through The Project Entitled Installation Of Meteorological Stations & Development Of Internet Portal Infrastructure Of The Op Public Sector Reform 2014-2020, Nsrf 2014 - 2020. More In Detail, This Action Includes The Supply And Installation Throughout The Territory Of The Following Meteorological Systems: • A Network Of Seven (7) Meteorological Radar Doppler, Dual Polarization, C Band With The Necessary Infrastructure (Installation Pillars, Huts, Systems Uninterrupted Power Supply, Etc.) • One (1) Short-Term Forecasting System (Nowcasting) With The Necessary Software And Equipment (Servers, Etc.), Which Will Be Installed At Emy And The Larissa Regional Meteorological Center (Pmk/Ata), As A Backup . • One (1) System For Producing Automated Updates And Warnings, With The Necessary Software And Equipment (Servers, Etc.), Which Will Be Installed At The Emy And The Larissa Regional Meteorological Center (Pmk/Ata), As A Backup.
