The Aim Of This Call For Tenders Is The Procurement, Implementation And Maintenance Of A Patient Portal Within The Meaning Of Khzg Funding Provision 2 (Section 19 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 No. 2 Khsfv). The Patient Portal Aims To Digitize The Processes Of Admission And Treatment Management And Optimize Them For Both The Hospital And The Patients. The Patient Portal Essentially Provides The Following Functions: - Uniform And Secure Authentication Mechanism And Onboarding Process - Account Management - Role/Rights Concept - File Upload And Download - Interface Functions - Backend For Internal Use - Connection Of Smart Devices And Medical Technology - It Security The Patient Portal Ensures That Additional Digital Value-Added Applications (Including Telemedicine Applications) Can Be Integrated And Made Available To Patients. Klf Currently Uses The Orbis Hospital Information System From Dedalus. User Centering Or Orientation Is One Of The Most Important Principles Of User Experience, Usability And User-Centered Design. The Core Of User-Centeredness Is To Design Products And Processes Based On The Needs Of The Actual Users, I.E. To Place The User At The Center Of All Considerations. In Addition, The Patient Portal Is Able To Reflect The Client’S Corporate Identity. The Operation Of The Patient Portal Should Be Carried Out As A Managed Service. As Part Of This Operating Model, The Contractor Provides And Operates The Hardware Required For Operation Entirely Within The Scope Of The Service Agreement In Order To Ensure The Full Operation Of The Patient Portal. The Hardware Is Installed In Klf’S Data Center. The Main Service Components Of The Operating Model Are: - Delivery And Installation Of The Hardware - Patch Management For The Hardware - Delivery And Installation Of All Necessary Licenses (Such As Operating System, Database, Etc.) - Patch Management For All Software Components Of The System To Be Offered, Including For The Operating System And For The Databases - Implementation And Control Of The Backup - Ensuring Disaster Recovery - Service Management For The Complete Installation, Including All Hardware And Software Components - Administration And Operation Of All Components For The Patient Portal - Integration Into The Existing It Security Architecture Further Details Are Contained In The Tender Documents That Will Be Issued After The Completion Of The Participation Competition.
