Expression of Interest are invited for Merchant Acquisition and Activation Firm IFC and MTN South Africa seek to recruit a Mobile Money Merchant Acquisition and Activation firm for a period of up to 10 months to effectively: 1. Prospect, identify, engage, educate, and recruit MoMo informal merchants for MTN in assigned areas through localized activation activities countrywide. 2. Supervise, support and retrain the MTN MoMo informal merchants to ensure adequate skill levels and understanding of the merchant value proposition to support continued interest in accepting MoMo payments. 3. Help increase transactional activity of the MoMo informal merchants by driving customer flow to the merchant outlets. 4. Drive customer usage on the merchant platform and reactivate any dormant merchants in the platform. 5. Drive awareness of MoMos value-add services and the product offering that is available through the merchant network.
