Construction Work – Port Of Aarhus New Outer Piers, Enterprise 1B Piers. The Port Of Aarhus Is In The Process Of A Long-Term Expansion Of The Port (Project Yder-Havnen), Which Will Run For At Least The Next 30 Years. The First Phase Consists Of The Establishment Of The Ydermolen And Nordmolen As Well As The Establishment Of A Reception Area. The Establishment Is Divided Into 2 Contracts In Order To Optimize The Projects Overall Schedule. The Main Features Of The Two Contracts Are Described Below: - Aarhus Havn New Outer Piers, Undertaking 1A Bottom Replacement: Dredging And Flapping Of Soft Bottom Material On Yderflak 2 And Partial Filling With Sand. - Aarhus Havn New Outer Piers, Entreprise 1B Moler: Partial Filling With Sand, Incorporation Of Blast-Stone Fill And Crushed Stone, Establishment Of Reception Area And Access Road, Temporary Stone Throwing And Individual Concrete Structures, Etc. The Current Tender, Entreprise 1B Moler, Deals With The Establishment Of A Traditional Stone Pier With An Underlying Sand Cushion. In Addition, A Reception Area Must Be Established, Which Must Be Taken Over By The Port Of Aarhus As An Area For Receiving Land. The Outer Pier, Entreprise 1B Moler, Has A Large Climate Footprint (Co2e Footprint) During The Construction Phase, And It Is Therefore Extremely Necessary To Focus On The Climate Footprint In Particular. The Tender Contains A New Type Of Tender Model, Where The Climate Footprint Becomes A Central Part Of Tendering. The Tenderer Must, Among Other Things, As Part Of Tendering, Deliver A Calculation Of Its Climate Footprint In Tonnes Of Co2e And A Tender Price. It Is The Ports Vision And Ambition To Influence The Entire Construction Industry In The Country To Reduce The Climate Footprint Of Its Projects, And The Port Of Aarhus Does This With Its Innovative And Sustainable Model. As Part Of The Project, Ongoing Follow-Up And Checks Of The Climate Footprint Must Be Carried Out In Collaboration With The Contractor, So That Knowledge And Experience Can Be Collected And Shared For The Benefit Of Other Construction Projects In Denmark. Contractor Design Must Be Carried Out In The Form Of Design Of Interim Constructions, Including Interim Quays And Temporary Filling Areas On Water, As Well As Design Of Temporary Stone Throwing Around The Reception Area Behind The Nord Pier, Cf. Sab 0 Management And Cooperation, Doc. No. A234340-Hp-Gen-Udb-220. As A Basis For The Design Of Interim Constructions, The Contractor For The Project Location Is Provided With Hydraulic Data (Waves, Current, Water Level), Cf. Sab 1 Workplace, And Geotechnical Data In The Form Of Attached Data Reports.
