Community Action Programme – T24-046Bus Peaceplus Connect Project (Bame). Derry City And Strabane District Council Invite Suppliers To Tender For A Peaceplus Connect Project (Bame). This Project Is An Essential Lifeline Project For The Most Isolated Women Within The Local Bame (Black And Minority Ethnic) Community. During The Co-Design Process, An Acute Need Was Heard For Female Only Projects For Women Relatively Recently Arrived Into Area. Many Have Extremely Limited English And/Or Are Asylum Seekers Or Refugees. This Project Would Assist These Women To Feel Connected And Less Isolated And Connect Them With Local Female Volunteers To Ensure The Project Had A Cross-Community Volunteering Dimension.
