Construction Work – Tender For Construction Contract Regarding New Aircraft Parking And Maintenance Apron, 2Af21541. In The Current Tender, The Main Contract For New Aircraft Parking And Maintenance Apron Is Being Offered. At The 721St Air Station Karup, The Necessary Facilities Must Be Established To Be Able To Handle Aar Nato Tankers In Order To Meet The Nato Minimum Military Requirement. The Project Includes A Parking Platform For Four Aar Tankers, Expansion Of Adjacent Taxiways, Establishment Of New Ones And Relocation Of Associated Lighting Fixtures And Installations, As Well As Establishment Of Connecting Roads. The Project Also Includes Two Buildings In Preparation For The Installation Of Hydrant Systems For Delivery And Defuelling, Including Associated Installations And Piping. The Hydrant System And Its Piping And Installations Are Carried Out By Another Contractor, And The Work Must Be Coordinated With This Contractor. The Contract Thus Covers Construction Work For The Establishment Of A New Stand For Larger Aircraft, As Well As The Expansion And Renovation Of Taxiways To And From The Stand. The Stand Is Made With A Concrete Surface. The Taxiway Extensions Are Carried Out Mainly As Asphalt Pavements, But With Areas In Concrete In Connection With Connections To The Main Runway At The East And West Ends. The Contract Is Offered With Two Options, Where Option 1 Relates To The Reasphalting Of The Main Line, And Option 2 Relates To The Removal Of The Outermost Parts Of The Main Lines Shoulders. The Stand Has An Area Of Approx. 23,000 M² And The Taxiways An Area Of Approx. 106,000 M². The Option For Reasphalting The Main Line Has An Area Of Approx. 147,000 M². The Option For Removing The Outermost Parts Of The Old Concrete Shoulders Has An Area Of Approx. 33,000 M². Given That The Facilities Are To Be Used For Heavy Air Traffic, There Are Special Requirements In Connection With The Casting Work Of The Concrete Pavements, And The Work Must Be Carried Out With Great Care, Both In Relation To Fall Conditions And Finished Surfaces. The Work Is Offered As One Main Contract. The Norwegian Property Agency Does Not Offer The Service In Separate Subcontracts, As The Norwegian Property Agency Wants All Work Under The Contract To Be Supervised By One Main Contractor. The Chosen Form Of Contract Ensures That The Overall Responsibility For Executing The Contract Is Concentrated With One Main Contractor, Thereby Easing The Danish Property Agencys Administrative Burden In Relation To The Subsequent Contract Period. The Construction Will Take Place At Flyvestation Karup. Employees Who Will Carry Out The Contract Must Be Security Approved To The Level For Service Use (Nato Restricted/Restreint Eu/Weu Restricted).
