The Purpose Of This Contract Is To Gather Data That Will Inform And Support Future Decisions Regarding The Management And Implications Of The Current Bark Beetle Outbreaks. The Forest Health Program Is Administered By The Stewardship Team At The Prince George Forest District.The Contract Will Be Requiring An Estimated 21 Polygons (1902 Hectares) To Be Surveyed In Various Locations Throughout The Prince George Forest District; This Is Dependent On Budget, Survey Conditions And Time. It Is Possible That More Survey Polygons Could Be Added To The Contract. The Surveys Will Include A Hybrid Probing Survey Or A Grid Probing Survey, Both Of Which Will Include The Addition Of Plots Where Secondary Stand Structure Will Be Measured Within Each Polygon Identified By The Contract Manager.Further Details As To The Scope Of This Opportunity And The Requirements Can Be Found Within This Rfp; Please See Attached Documents.
