Prior Information Notice For Repair And Maintenance Services Of Rolling Stock - Conversion Of 7 Double-Decker Passenger Cars, Including Primarily Supply Of Components, Engineering, And Documentation For Homologation (From German To Danish Standards). Dsb Is In The Process Of Acquiring 7 Double-Decker Passenger Cars, Which Are Currently Driving In Germany. Double Decker The Passenger Cars Were Originally Built By Bombardier, Now Alstom. The 7 Units Are Passenger Cars (=Dd4), Which Must Be Rebuilt And Modified To Meet Danish Standards And The Same Approvals As Dsbs Existing Dd3 Wagons (B 7740 - 7762). The Central Tasks For This Project Are As Follows: Reconstruction: • Adaptation Of Energy Supply (“Zugsammelschiene”) For The Danish System (From 1000 V 16 2/3 Hz To 1500 V 50 Hz). • Installation Of Fmz System (Frequenzmultiplexe Zugsteuerung). • Adaptation Of Door Control And Mandrel Switches (Mandrel Switch For Disconnection Of Tb0/Tbs ​​Must Be Removed, Mandrel Switch For Buzzer Must Be Installed And Completion Notification Flash At Entry Doors). • Adaptation In Appliance Cabinets (Remove Warning Lights For Frost Protection And Switch For Door Control, Remove Over-Strap Contact For Fmz, Install 200 Hz Buzzer Card). • Update Software (Including Climate Control And Door Control Tzg24). • Adding A Fire Alarm In The Toilet. • Assembly Of A Talking Point (Sprechstelle) In Cabinet S3. • Change Of Nbü/Ep System From Nbü2004 To Db-System. • Reconstruction Of Passenger Layout (Remove Cycle Area And Install Chairs) Incl. Replace Existing Chairs With Standard Dsb Chairs. • Dismantling The Passenger Information Screen In The Entrance Area. • Dismantling The Emergency Handicap Ramp. • Delivery, Preparation And Updating Of Full Documentation For Type Approval (Homologation). • Engineering Design Of The Modifications • Perform Relevant Calculations, Such As Weight Distribution, In Order To Support The Homologation • Exercise Of Wagons Incl. Documentation (To Avoid Leasing). The Project Involves The Supply Of Components And Services Within Assembly, Adaptation, Installation, Updating, Engineering, Painting, Various Craft Work Tasks And The Like; That Are Necessary To Carry Out The Conversion And Prepare The Wagons For Approved Operation In Denmark In A Homologation Process. Dsb Will Deliver Passenger Seats, 200 Hz Tone Card, Dsb Equipment For Wifi. Time Frame The 7 Passenger Cars Must Be In Operation Q4 2025, Partly Due To Lack Of Capacity For Passengers; And The Current Double Decker Fleet Must Go Through The Major Overhaul At The Beginning Of 2026. The Task Therefore Includes Rebuilding Of All 7 Passenger Cars, Which Must Be Made Ready For Homologation And Finally Dsb Acceptance Of The Wagons, Ready To Go Into Operation Together With The Existing Dsb Double Decker Train Fleet. Dsb Expects That The First Passenger Car Is Completely Rebuilt And Ready For Homologation, No Later Than 12 Months After Contract Signature. The Remaining 6 Wagons Must Be Rebuilt Within 6 Months After The 1St Wagon Is Approved. The Supplier Must Update The Documentation System Ietm (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) With The Changes Being Made In Connection With The Redevelopment; For Example Electrical Diagrams, Construction Drawings, Maintenance Manuals, Installation Of New Fmz Units, Software For Hvac Needs To Be Upgraded Or Adapted, Etc. The Conversion Of The 7 Passenger Cars Must Be Converted So That They Can Achieve Same Type Approval As Dsbs Double Decker 2003 (B7740-7762).
