These Tracks Are Currently Experiencing Several Disorders Which Are Likely To Ultimately Degrade Rail Safety Conditions Or Track Availability. The Need To Schedule The Carrying Out Of This Work Was Identified In Order To Maintain The Fleet In Good Condition, To Control The Lifespan Of The Track, To Compensate For A Possible Increase In The Number Of Geometric Defects And Thus To Maintain A Level Controlled” Maintenance. After The Historic Rvb Work On The Central Section Of The Rer Line A Which Took Place From 2015 To 2021, The Track Unit Of The Ratp Infrastructures Department Initiated An Analysis Of The Rer Branches In Order To Identify The Heritage Maintenance Operations That It Is Necessary To Carry Out. This Analysis Covers Track Renewal Activities, Integrating Expansion Devices And Track Devices In The Areas Concerned. Its Objective Is To Identify Infrastructures Whose Renewal Cannot Be Carried Out Within The Framework Of The Annual Heritage Maintenance Program. The Significant Lengths To Be Treated, The Types Of Work And The Organizational Means Associated With The Renewal Of These Infrastructures Need To Be Treated Within The Framework Of A Specific Project.
