Goi Has Approached International Finance Corporation (Ifc) As Lead Advisor To Assist In Structuring And Tendering The Project.Bia Is IraqS Largest International Airport, Located 16 Kilometers West Of The CapitalS City Center And Serves As The Main International Gateway Into The Country. The Airport Was Completed In 1982 And Has Undertaken Limited Upgrades And Expansion Since. Today, Bia Requires Significant Maintenance And Rehabilitation To Improve The AssetS Condition And Safety, Improve Passenger Facilities And Service Levels, Optimize The Operations And Airport Costs, And Boost The Commercial Offering.
