Chennavrishabendra Lift Irrigation Scheme Proposes To Lift 1.0 Tmc Water From Markandeya River ( On The Right Bank Near Pachapur Village ) And Conveying The Same To Irrigate An Area Of 11600 Ha. In Bailhongal And Saundhatti Taluk Of Belagavi District. The Scheme Comprises Of Headwork With Raising Main At Pachapur Village ( Main Sump Cum Pump House ) And Intermediate Pump House At Hanabaratti Village And Thereon The Water Is Conveyed To The Fields Using Distribution Network.
