Social Work Services – Psychosocial Support (Ukrainian) Displaced Persons. Since The Outbreak Of War In Ukraine, The Municipality Of Almere Has Been Sheltering Ukrainian Displaced Persons. In Addition To Issues In The Areas Of Housing, Education, Participation And Social Security, Part Of This Target Group Experiences Psychosocial Challenges As A Result Of Displacement, Loss, Long-Term Uncertainty, Social Disruption And Building A New Life In The Netherlands. The Municipality Of Almere Therefore Provides Preventive Psychosocial Support For Ukrainian Displaced Persons. This Support Is Aimed At Strengthening Well-Being, Self-Reliance And Resilience And Has A Preventive Nature. The Support Does Not Replace Regular Care, Specialist Mental Health Care Or Support Provided Under Legal Frameworks Such As The Youth Act. €2,000,000
