This Project Is Part Of Infrabels Strategic Plan To Eliminate Level Crossings. It Is Also Part Of The Overall Vision Of Mobility Of Both The Municipality Of Dendermonde And Infrabel. It Was Decided To Remove The Existing Level Crossing No. 65 On The L53 Railway Line And Replace It With A Tunnel Intended For Agricultural Traffic At Paalstraat And Bosstraat. In Addition To The Underground Passage Under The Railway Line, The Project Also Provides, In The Same Structure, For The Underground Passage Of A Parallel Road. This Is Today Used As An Agricultural Road And Will Constitute The Future Route Of The F44 Cycle Highway.
