Bcts Bc Bid Solicitation Standardfh28tbp001the Purpose Of This Contract Is To Complete The Removal Of Seedling Protectors (Tree Cones) And Where Needed, Secure Leaning Trees To Stakes. Twelve (12) Blocks In Egmont On The Lower Sunshine Coast Totaling Approximately 103.8 Ha Have Been Identified For Treatment. There Are Approximately 600 Seedling Protectors Per Hectare Estimating 62,280 Total For Removal.Access Will Be A Combination Of 4X4, Atv And Helicopter.The Successful Contractor Will Be Responsible For Providing Enough Workers, Materials, And Equipment To Complete The Work. The Contractor Will Be Required To Clean, Bundle, Pallet And Ship Reusable Protectors To A Designated Sunshine Coast – Powell River Storage Area And Dispose Of Non-Reusable Protectors At An Approved Waste Facility.
