This Is A Major Works Contract Offered For Performance Of The Upgrade Of 8.7Km Of Deactivated Forest Service Road (Fsr) Within The Harris Operating Area Of The North Zone Field Team, Bcts Okanagan-Columbia Business Area. This Contract Also Facilitates The Installation Of A 9.144M All-Steel Portable Bridge Structure On A Designed Crossing Site.8,759M Of Fsr Upgrade:Thelma 0+000M – 7+185M (Grading, Brushing)Ak1pc 0+000M – 1+574M (Grading, Brushing)Site K1694 12.192-Meter All-Steel Portable Bridge Structure:12.192M All Steel Portable To Be Transported From Its Existing Location At The Revelstoke Yard (2805 Big Eddy Road) To Installation Site K1694 (50°04’03.5” N, 118°49’22.7” W) On Thelma Fsr (See Location Map). Note: The Bridge Installer Must Inspect Fsr’S Accessing Either Site Prior To Any Transport Trucks Entering And Bring Any Deficiencies That Will Not Facilitate Safe Use Of The Transport Trucks To The Ministry Representative’S Attention. The Bridge Installer Will Complete A Field Safety Pre-Work For Each Delivery Driver, Prior To Them Entering The Fsr. The Field Safety Pre-Work Will Include The Following, But Is Not Limited To:The Safe Material Delivery Procedures For Use Of The Fsr’S To Be Utilized In Order To Access The Bridge Site(S), Andany Known Safety Hazards Along This Access Route.
