Non-Scheduled Passenger Transport – Procurement Of School Transport For Utsjokisuu School. The Object Of The Procurement Is The School Transport Services Of The Utsjokisuu School In The Municipality Of Utsjoki (Hereinafter Also The Procurement Unit Or Customer). School Transport Is About Transport Between Home And School. The Transports Are Run On School Days Confirmed Each Academic Year. During The School Holidays, School Transport Does Not Run. Even During Possible Exceptional Circumstances, Distance Education Or Other Special Arrangements, School Transport May Not Be Run. Routes And Schedules Are Agreed Upon In More Detail Between The Procurement Unit And The Selected Service Provider Before Starting Operations. The Object Of Procurement Is Described In Appendix 2 Description Of The Object Of Procurement And Elsewhere In The Tender Documents. The Procuring Unit Does Not Commit To Certain Procurement Quantities, But To Purchase The Service According To The Needs Of The Procuring Unit. The Contract Does Not Give The Service Provider An Exclusive Right To Perform The Services That Are The Subject Of Procurement. The Procurement Contract Is Valid For A Fixed Period From The Signing Of The Contract Until 31 July 2028, After Which It Can Be Extended For Two (2) One (1) Year Option Periods. The Service Provider Must Be Ready To Start Providing Services No Later Than January 1, 2027. A More Detailed Start Schedule For School Transport Will Be Agreed Separately. Option Periods Are About The Purchasing Entitys Right, But Not Its Obligation. The Procurement Has Not Been Divided Into Parts, Because It Is About Student Transportation For One (1) School, Which Forms One (1) Unified Service Entity. Dividing The Procurement Into Parts Would Not Be Appropriate From The Point Of View Of The Size Of The Procurement, The Nature Of The Procurement, The Method Of Carrying Out The Transports, Or The Manageability Of The Service. Dividing Into Parts Would Increase The Need For Service Coordination And Administrative Work. As The Final Result Of The Procurement Procedure, The Procurement Entity Selects One (1) Service Provider, With Whom It Enters Into A Procurement Contract. Partial Offers Are Not Allowed. Alternative Offers Are Not Allowed.
