Ratas Is An Information System Entity In Use, Whose Continuity Of Operation, Usability, Information Security And Managed Development Are Central To The Operation Of The Procurement Unit. The System Has Been Developed In Stages According To The Current Operating Model. The Goal Of The Future Competition Is To Create A Long-Term Service Model That Ensures High-Quality Maintenance Of The System And Enables The Necessary Changes And Further Development In A Controlled Manner. The Primary Goal Of The Procurement Is To Ensure: • Continuous Availability And Operational Reliability Of The System • Effective Fault Management And Problem Solving • Maintenance Of The Systems Technical Environment • Secure And Controlled Implementation Of Changes • Preservation Of The Necessary Documentation And Know-How • Supporting The Customer In Managing The Systems Life Cycle. The Service Initially Includes The Following Entities: Maintenance Services • Continuous Maintenance Of The System • Reception, Analysis And Resolution Of Disturbances • Handling Of Service Requests • Problem Management • Version And Change Management • Technical Maintenance Of The Operating Environment • Cooperation With Infrastructure And Other Suppliers. Application Support And Technical Management • Ensuring The Technical Operation Of The Application • Management Of Application Components • Technical Investigation And Expert Support • Performance And Capacity Monitoring • Information Security Maintenance. Further Development And Changes • Small-Scale Development Measures • Corrective And Anticipatory Changes • Functional Development Needs • Technical Debt Management. The Actual Development Work Is Not The Main Goal Of The Procurement, But Its Purpose Is To Support The Management Of The Systems Life Cycle And The Success Of The Maintenance Service. The Share Of Further Development In The Service Is A Complementary Area To Maintenance. Its Goal Is To Enable The Necessary Changes, Repairs And Limited Development Needs Without Separate Heavy Arrangements. It Is Planned To Further Develop The Ratas System In The Coming Years By Integrating It With The European Travel Information And Authorization System (Etias) And Renewing The User Identification Of The Ratas System With A Modern Solution. The Goal Of The Request For Participation Is To Identify A Limited Number Of Candidates From The Market Who Have Sufficient Expertise And Capacity To Be Responsible For The Maintenance And Development Service Of The Ratas System. According To The Current Plan, The Ratas System Will Be Replaced In The Next Decade. The Details Of The Procurement Of The Replacement System Are Still To Be Decided.
